Banner Gags is a great new bit of business. Not only that, Banner Gags is a brand new idea for kid shows, not a recycled old gag in new clothes.
The Banner Gag starts out as a thin 9-1/2 inch stick. So it packs very small in your case. It has a rolled up sign in it. Pull the handles and it opens into a large 9-1/2 x 27 inch long sign, visible in the largest rooms.
In the package of Banner Gags you get three different banners as pictured below.
1. Hot Dog Gag
Show the audience a picture of a giant hot dog. You pretend to eat the hot dog. The audience sees the hot dog going into your mouth. To prove that you really did eat the hot dog you open the banner and show an x-ray of your stomach with the hot dog clearly visible inside you! This makes a great opener or funny joke any time during your show.
2. Tuxedo / Baby
On this banner is a picture of the tuxedo of a magician. The head is missing. That’s because you hold the banner below a child’s neck and his head completes the image. When you bring a child volunteer up to your stage you open the banner and show the audience that the child looks like a magician. Close the banner.
Then bring the banner up to your body. When you open the same banner again the audience sees that you are not a magician, but instead that you are a baby! The kids love this. They start screaming at you that you’re a baby! The longer you wait to look down at your body the funnier it is to the kids.
3. I Am The Best Magician
Tell the children that sometimes you are not sure if you are a good magician or not. That’s why you have this sign in your house. Open the banner and the children read the sign which says, “I am the best magician.” Close the banner. Say, “That’s how I know I am a good magician.”
Then open the banner again and now the sign reads, “I am not the best magician at all.” The children read this and then tell you that you are not the best magician! They love this!
Carry these with you all the time and you have a three funny visual gags made especially for kids and tested and proven at more than 300 shows. Comes with three banners and complete instructions.
